Strengthening Health and Local Systems
Most young people first seek help from a teacher, health worker, or community leader (including religious leaders and traditional healers) — yet many of these frontline actors lack the tools to respond effectively. Strengthening local systems ensures that care is accessible, youth-friendly, and delivered on time.

What We Do
-
Partner with schools and health facilities to integrate youth mental health support.
-
Train community health workers (CHWs) and teachers to recognize and respond to mental health needs.
-
Build referral pathways that link youth to care and resources.
-
Engage families and communities to create stronger support systems.
Our Impact
We have strengthened connections between youth and local systems, ensuring support is available at the first point of contact.
10 health facilities engaged.
500+ CHWs and 1500+ teachers trained.
