Omwisiki
The connection between violence against children and poor mental health is clear. Omwisiki is an innovation by Twogere to stop violence against children in schools and communities. By raising awareness and strengthening local leadership, Omwisiki helps create safer, supportive spaces where every child can thrive.
Our Voice 256 Reloaded
Our Voice 256 Reloaded is Twogere’s bold innovation to end mental health stigma and discrimination. Our champions—people with lived experience—take to busy streets, markets, and public spaces around Kampala, using a megaphone (“mwekalakasa”) to share their stories and spark honest conversations about mental health. What sets this apart is its raw authenticity and spontaneity—no stages, no scripts—just real voices creating safe, open dialogue where it matters most.
Schools Innovation Challenge
Empowering schools to design and implement innovative mental health and well-being solutions tailored to their students’ unique needs. The challenge inspires creativity and ownership in schools, igniting positive change that fosters resilient, supported, and mentally healthy learning communities.
In Our Voice Radio Program
In Our Voice is a monthly mental health radio series that shines a light on real stories from people with lived experience. By sharing these powerful narratives, the program breaks stigma, educates the public, and inspires hope. Listeners can actively engage each month—asking questions and sharing their insights—making mental health a community conversation.
