Our Commitment to Equity and
Inclusion
We believe that mental health support must be accessible to every young person, regardless of their background, region, or socioeconomic status. To build an equitable mental health infrastructure across Uganda’s schools, we pledge to:

-
Bridge the Access Gap: Intentionally design our interventions to serve under-resourced public and rural schools, ensuring that effective care is not a luxury reserved only for elite institutions.
-
Champion Lived Experience: Center the voices of Ugandan youth who have navigated mental health challenges, ensuring our programs are designed with students, not just for them.
-
Foster Inclusive Environments: Train educators to support neurodivergent learners and students with disabilities, actively dismantling the stigma that isolates vulnerable children in the classroom.
-
Build a Representative Team: Commit to fair, transparent recruitment practices that welcome diverse talents from different regions, linguistic backgrounds, and lived experiences across Uganda.
-
Accountability & Localization: Partner with local communities, district authorities, and grassroots suppliers to ensure our growth directly invests in the Ugandan ecosystem.
