Empowering Young People Through Livelihood Skills

Young people living with mental health conditions often face serious challenges finding and keeping work. These barriers don’t just affect income—they also impact self-esteem, independence, and overall well-being.At Twogere, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to earn a living, feel valued, and build a future.

That’s why we support youth with lived experience through skills training, mentorship, and small business start-up support. By helping young people turn their ideas into income, we’re promoting recovery, confidence, and long-term inclusion in their communities.

We equip young people with lived experience of mental health conditions with practical skills and startup support—empowering them to earn, recover, and thrive.

We need your support

Our goal is to ensure mental health conditions do not limit economic inclusion, giving every young person the opportunity to thrive. However, demand for our support consistently exceeds our capacity. Each year, we receive over 50 requests, yet can only support 5 to 10 youth.
